How rankings are decided

Every ranking on this site comes from a published rubric applied consistently to the data and review synthesis described above. There’s no manual thumb on the scale for any individual business. The full breakdown of what’s measured and how it’s weighted is in our <a href=“/methodology/“>methodology</a>, and it applies the same way whether a business has ten reviews or a thousand.

Ethan Marsh, Editor in Chief, maintains the rubric and oversees how it’s applied across all 135 listings. If something about a scoring rule looks off, that’s the person responsible for reviewing it.

Correcting your listing vs. changing your score

If you run one of the businesses listed here and see a factual error (wrong phone number, outdated address, service area that’s changed), you can request a correction and we’ll update the underlying facts. What you cannot do is edit your own score, sentiment summary, or ranking position. Those are generated from the rubric and the review synthesis, not from business input, and that separation is what keeps the rankings usable for the people reading them.

Sponsorship, when it exists

Some pages may include a listing or placement clearly labeled “Sponsored.” Sponsored placements are shown separately from the earned rankings, never blended into them, and never used to reorder the ranked list itself. If you’re comparing two businesses, the ranking number reflects the rubric and the data, full stop.
